Hawaii

We’ve all watched coverage of golf tournaments televised from Hawaii; the beauty of the Aloha State is legendary. There are few more stunningly beautiful places to play the game. Year-round moderate temperatures and an ocean breeze keep it comfortable, while the natural moisture ensures rich turf and a consistency of quality from season to season. Besides, who wouldn’t want to go to golf in Hawaii?

Hawaii the islands are an incredibly beautiful and diverse destination. From the southern tip of Hawaii, one can see the moon looming huge and stroll on emerald-green sand beaches. Elsewhere on that huge island (over 90 miles long, over 70 miles wide) you’ll find several distinct regions, including desert, rainforest, lava fields and even snowcapped mountains! Historically, one had to fly in to Oahu and then take a commuter flight or boat onward. More recently, flights come in to Maui and the Big Island from the mainland, making travel to Hawaii even more convenient. Molokai and Lanai, largely protected and preserved, sit midway in the chain. Each of the islands is markedly different, yet equally breathtaking, and all come with the warm breath of Aloha found nowhere else in the world.

It’s nearly impossible to describe the depth and scope of the beauty of the Hawaiian Island in words, and even then it doesn’t touch on the scents of the rich earth and plants, the ocean spray as the waves are heard crashing against the shoreline… Hawaii is simply something one has to experience for oneself. What better opportunity and excuse could there be for a golf vacation than the Islands of Hawaii!
