Missouri

The Show Me state wants to show you just how good golfing can get! A woodsy, rolling hills state, one would expect Missouri to have some rather impressive courses, and it doesn’t disappoint; It would appear that Missouri is one Saintly place for golf.

Though overlooked by some of the publications the Lodge at Four Seasons’ three course offerings in the Lake in the Ozarks merits attention as well. Offering 36 regulation holes as well as an executive 9-hole set, this resort’s first priority is excellence, and it shows. From the 15,000 square foot Spa Shiki’s pampering to the fine and casual dining, Four Seasons distinguishes itself as a family owned and operated resort. More important to most of us is the golf. Travel & Leisure Magazine referred to The Lodge as “One of the best golf resorts in the world.” Top designers Jack Nicklaus, Ken Kavanaugh and the incomparable Robert Trent Jones Senior graced these scenic hills with their talents, providing guests with 54 championship holes. Season’s Ridge, the player-friendly 4-star Kavanaough design and Robert Trent Jones’ Witch’s Cove enjoy a 4,000 square foot clubhouse that offers up food and beverage service. The Club at Porto Cima is an 18-hole waterfront Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Recognized as Golf Digest’s #4 “best new private golf course” Porto Cima lies within a short walk of the Lodge, and is also a Harold Koplar family holding. If you should choose to take a day off, the marina offers fishing, parasailing, pontoon boats and yachting at this mountain lake’s full-service marina. The entertainment, food and environment are top-notch, everything a golf resort should be.
