Diamond Peak Resort

Area – The area around Diamond Peak Resort is served by the Incline Village Championship and Mountain Golf Courses. Temperatures in the area generally hover in the high 70s to mid 80s in the summer, and the courses range from alpine to a flatter, more undulating championship course. Located at the north east edge of Lake Tahoe, and just over the state line into Nevada, Incline Village visitors and residents can take advantage of golf discounts and passes to the two area courses, and also enjoy the dozens of other golf courses in the Tahoe area.

Golf Course Descriptions – Robert Trent Jones, Sr., who has designed many award-winning courses, heaped praise on Incline Village as an ideal mountain layout that's challenging and has an unforgettable view. Bunkers and water hazards on almost all the holes definitely pose a challenge for intermediate to experienced golfers. The Championship Course is considered by many top golfers to be one of the most challenging courses in the West. The 18-hole course has the distinction of being named one of the best in the state by Golf Digest and one of the best courses to play by Golfweek in 2010.

The Mountain Golf Course, also designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., has a variety of elevations and a rich, natural line of pines surrounding it and throughout. It's a golf course that's one of the most affordable in the area, where you'll almost always get your tee time. It'll take you about three-and-a-half hours to make your way around the 18 holes on this challenging course that calls for accuracy and controlled shots. It's a par 58 course that offers great views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains that surround it.

Play & Stay Diamond Peak Golf – With all there is to do in the Reno-Tahoe area, there's no lack of golf discounts and coupons available, as well as play and stay golf vacation packages. Tee time discounts, lodging deals, rentals and more can be combined into a great package in the Tahoe area. Enjoy the lake, water sports and things like helicopter tours and cruises in Tahoe when you're not on the green trying to make a chip shot. The area is easy to get to from I-80, with Reno International Airport only about 40 miles away and a variety of bus, taxi and shuttle services that serve the area.
