Wyoming

Wyoming

Amongst the least populated states in the nation, the Equality State may not have the most courses, but they certainly can tempt with some of the most breathtaking (and distracting) backgrounds anywhere. With the Grand Tetons serving as the horizon line on most every shot, it’s hard not to enjoy golf in place like Jackson and Sheridan Wyoming. The people are helpful and friendly, and the views are simply magnificent!

What do you get when you combine the richness of a Scottish Links concept with the splendor of an open glade in the Rocky Mountains, and the pristine beauty of a highlands landscape complete with babbling brooks and short waterfalls? Now make it a 27-hole golf community. Well, you start to get the picture of the Powder Horn. Sheridan’s beautiful, majestic and peaceful mountain highlands are the foundation of this three-course delight. Each of the 9 holes has its own distinctive feel and flair to it. Challenging but playable has been accomplished at the Powder Horn. Described as semi-private, they’re open to the public, while offering memberships, home sites and lodgings. The feeling is grand and open, yet decidedly intimate, as you step back in time and out into nature to play the game as it was originally played. When in Sheridan, there’s no better place to be and play than the Powder Horn.
